HTBI organizes and carries out idea and business plan competitions with the objective to identify ideas and developments and support scientists, entrepreneurs and students and young people with technical, intellectual and management potentiality.

The competitions have the following goals:

- To encourage the innovative thinking among the scientists, entrepreneurs and the young people

- To identify and support talented students and young people with potential for development

- To create a linkage between the universities, R&D centers and the business and to establish a market oriented initiatives between the industry and education

- To provide support for the commercialization of ideas and developments

- To guarantee on- time incubation of identified innovative ideas

HTBI – Burgas offers a pack of services for the transfer of new technologies and innovative ideas. As a co-founder of the Burgas Technology Transfer Office, HTBI works for the:

- Provision of services to existing entities and establishment of new innovative or technology based enterprises;

- Strengthening of the linkage between universities, research organizations, international and local companies, public institutions and proinnovative structures;

- Development of innovative and technological enterprises;
